and architectural heritage especially in the hills around Figline
and Rignano; its natural beauty in areas such as the uplands of
Pratomagno and the forests around Vallombrosa and the
singular beauty of the formations caused by erosion near
Reggello and Loro Ciuffena, known locally as ‘balze’
(cliffs), ‘piramidi’, and ‘torrioni’(towers).
